The Singapore Yacht Show is Asia's leading yacht and luxury event, showcasing a wide range of prestigious products and brands. Being an annual event, one of the challenges the organisers faced was keeping their event fresh and engaging — year after year. For the 2018 edition, Ubersnap was tasked with bringing something different to the table — a unique GIF photo booth experience that the guests had never before encountered. With our one-of-a-kind holographic prints, this was exactly what the organisers were looking for. Over a weekend, 1800 guests moved, laughed and danced at the photo booth — generating 500 GIFs. Ubersnap encourages people's natural desires to share about their own experiences, allowing brands to (unobtrusively) insert themselves into conversations. 300 GIFs were shared and downloaded in the same period, leading to authentic conversations around the event. These conversations continued well after the event concluded. For an annual event like the Singapore Yacht Show, this is a great foundation for next year's edition. In total, 1600 holographic prints were brought home by the guests. These prints were branded with the Singapore Yacht Show logo. Due to the novelty of the prints, they would be shown and discussed among family and friends — serving as a reminder of the event, strengthening brand loyalty and increasing brand awareness.
